Did you know that there are 86.400 seconds in a day? That seems a lot but if you take a second and think about it the next second is already gone. So what we do with these seconds is of the essence in the choices we make.

My name is Cally, performance coach, fitboy-look-alike and every month I’m going to take a few of these seconds of your time to inspire you, motivate you or open up a discussion.

I’m going to write about six-pack selfies, trends, do’s/don’t’s, superfood-quinoa-eating fitgirl shit. I’m going to be a hypocrite, insecure, sarcastic but most of all, I’m going to honest!

Who am I? Born and raised in Amsterdam working with athletes of all levels of fitness. I like to run marathons, do CrossFit, kickboxing and functional training. Besides my obsessive behaviour to train I drink beer, eat burgers and visit festivals and feel miserable for a week.

But is this really who I am? Through life, I discovered my strength and weaknesses and the masks we put on. Do I ever show that I feel miserable, vulnerable and insecure? No! Do you? But maybe we should…
