BAPE X The Weeknd
The Weekend is know for being a man of many talents, wether it is hosting a new years eve party, being a lead actor in one of the biggest movie releases in cinematic history, Uncut Gems, or topping the carts in his newest single. The singer can do no wrong, and now he is shining once again for his newest collaborations with A BATHING APE.
After the succes of their first collaborative collection, inaugural, which dropped in late summer 2018. The Weekend and A Bathing Ape are once again joining forces on a collaborative capsule collection. They have announced the collection will be available on Saturday January 11th.
The capsule collection features a corduroy varsity jacket and a denim jacket, both of which feature heavy graphic detailing and logos like “BATHING APE XO TILL WE OVERDOSE,” which is of course a nod to the musician’s lyrics.
The shark motif that BAPE is know for is also making a appearance on both sweatpants and a hoodie. There is a camp print made exclusively for the XO collaboration but there are simpeler items such as a pullover, t-shirts, and hoodie.
