Best Off Season Work-outs in the NBA
In a little over three weeks time, the 2018-2019 season is set to begin. Though most players have had a long break since the season ended, that doesn’t mean that they sat on the couch for those months. These are some of the players who had impressive work-outs over the last few months.
Gordon Hayward

For Hayward, it’s finally time to return to the court after sustaining an injury in the first game of the previous season. Hayward definitely looks ready to go!
Ben Simmons

Simmons just wants everyone to know that he’s practising his jumper. If he’s able to add that facet to his game, Simmons becomes even more difficult to stop than he already is.
Luka Doncic

Doncic is preparing for his first NBA season, and he definitely has something to prove. At just 19-years-old, he became the Euroleague MVP, won the Euroleague Final Four MVP award, won the Euroleague championship with Real Madrid, as well as becoming the Liga ACB MVP. Now it’s time for him to show that he can do the same in the NBA. The expectations for Doncic in the NBA are quite varied; the Mavericks think he and DeAndre Jordan will get them to the playoffs, while a lot of other people think Doncic will have a hard time adjusting to the NBA.
Giannis Antetokounmpo & Kawhi Leonard
Antetokounmpo and Leonard both took the chance to work out with Kobe Bryant during the off season. Who doesn’t want to learn from one of the best basketball players ever?
DeMarcus Cousins
Cousins definitely had to prove something this off season, and so far he definitely did. First, he had to work hard to recover from his achilles injury, and second he had to prove that he could be a real threat with the Warriors. So far, it looks like he will fit right in with the rest.

Paul George
Paul George didn’t sit still in the off season: he participated in pick-up games, went to the USA basketball mini-camp and did a lot of individual workouts.
Boban Marjanovic and Tobias Harris

Some players stand out because of their workouts, while others fill their time doing totally other stuff. Marjanovic and Harris did the second thing.
Damian Lillard

Not everyone agrees with the fact that everyone is posting their work-out on social media these days. Damian Lillard made clear that he won’t be following that trend, but ofcourse we know he’ll be ready for the upcoming season.
