With the observation deck at the top, that has swings on it that go over the edge (totally safe), and a restaurant and café, you can spend some hours at this tower. Start with a nice view over the city, swing over the edge and then go to the bar for some drinks, with amazing view. Want to stay longer? Have dinner at the restaurant, which is spinning around so you have changing views during dinner.

Located in the Wibautstraat, on top of the Volkshotel, you can find Canvas. With its terrace, it’s perfect for sunny days. And with its big windows, it’s perfect for evening drinks. And not only the views and big windows make it perfect for evening drinks, their cocktails and other drinks are also a good reason to enjoy your evening here. Most of the times it’s open from ten a.m. till half past six p.m. So you need a place for you and your friends to catch up with some coffee? Go to Blue, where you can see the whole city from above, since it has windows all around.

With its views over the city, beautiful bathrooms filled with lights and rooftop pool, this hotspot is a favorite amongst bloggers and other people who love to take photographs. And with it’s delicious cocktails, it’s a favorite amongst almost everyone who loves a good drink. It’s located in the W Hotel, in the Spuistraat. Besides having some drinks here, you can also go for breakfast or lunch or dinner, since it’s a hotel lounge and it’s open since 8 a.m. And yes, there really is a rooftop pool, with amazing view over our city.

This restaurant doesn’t give you a real city view, more of a view over the river IJ. It’s an old broadcast platform, which is now used as a restaurant, located at Haparandadam, in Amsterdam. You can come here for lunch, or dinner, or drinks. There is a view platform on the ‘island’ which gives you amazing views over the IJ. This hotspot also has a lot of windows, so when it’s sunny it’s the perfect place for some afternoon drinks. Besides this, they have an outstanding menu and employees who know a lot about the food and drinks they serve.
