Bravery, nobility, honor, respect, and good fortune are all words that describe James Harden on and off the court, it is also what the Botan is a symbol of!
So yes! The great designer Yohji Yamamoto is back with yet another collection and this time inspired by James Harden. All- stars have been killing it lately in the fashion world but Harden just gave us another reason to “fear the beard”. The king of all flowers is what you see on the new items of Y-3, you’ll see it as the centerpiece of the collection, emblazoned on the clothing, socks and a crazy new pair of shoes. The collection will be executed entirely in stark black with the Botan flower as only color popping out.
The flower also evokes the art of ikebana, the centuries-old Japanese tradition of arranging flowers, which was practiced by samurais. So what you see on the crewneck is that it proudly features the bright pink Botan front and centre. The rest of the collection exists out of a oversized bomber, tailored shirt and cropped pants. The shoes also poses the Adidas Boost feature so you know they are going to be comfortable.
The collection will debut at adidas’s 747 warehouse street pop-up in LA on February 16, with a global release coming in April. So if you are they guy that can use a euro-step like a pro or can step back and shoot it from distance or if you just want to look cool on and off the court this collection is going to blow your mind.
