Napapijri’s FW19 Collection Is More Futuristic Than Ever

The Napapijri Fall/Winter 2019  Collection shows the brand’s vision with fresh street- and casual wear. Shiny fabrics, metallic effects and chequered puffers with the combination of minimalist shapes and uncompromising patterns.

Collection Stories

Japan New Norm

Inspired by the vision of Japan as a hyper-reality built on tradition and innovation, future and present elegantly coexist in a series of garments conceived as transitional pieces perfect for travelling in style. The Superlight family of jackets and coats shine with the dramatic minimalism of metallic and liquid effects articulated in over-sized and cropped puffers, short jackets and parka coats, including a Superlight version of the brand’s iconic Skidoo Anorak in black, blue, and shiny silver.

The Icons

Napapijri’s Fall/Winter ’19 collection celebrates the brand’s original jacket, The Skidoo, by revisiting it through the lenses of design, innovation, and sustainability. These elements come together in Skidoo Monte Bianco, a ski-jacket that combines Skidoo’s classic shape with Napapijri’s innovative spirit thanks to its high-tech features and details.

Nevada Road Trip

Nevada Road Trip celebrates unexpected traces of life and creativity in a rarefied landscape. This line’s aesthetic is built on the combination of heavy-duty materials such as corduroy, denim, and flannel with the rich softness of jacquard wool, reworked curly fleece and cotton. All the staples of a solid Western wardrobe are revisited and amped up to become marks of personal style: 5 pocket trousers, flannel shirts, fleece jackets, vests and jumpers.

The Tribe

Creativity, imagination, and improvisation are the key-instruments necessary to craft one’s own mark on the world. That’s why at the heart of Fall/Winter 19’s The Tribe Collection lie different chromatic and design influences held together by graphic and functional details inspired by tape, a quintessential DYI material.
