It’s time for the 2019 World Cup. Twenty teams are competing this year to win the gold medal on the Museumsquare in Amsterdam. These are the women you have to keep your eye on during the tournament.
The men’s standouts can be found here.
Migna Touré – France
Touré is on top of the rankings for female 3×3 players in the world, so there will be a lot expected from her during this World Cup. She will be joined by Ana Maria Filip, Laetitia Guapo and Marie-Eve Paget.

Loyce Bettonvil – Netherlands
Bettonvil was part of the team that got the bronze medal during the 2017 Europe Cup in Amsterdam. Their goal will be clear for this tournament: match last time’s result or go even higher. Of course, team Netherlands will have a lot of support during their games. In 2017, more than 2.100 fans watched the game for the 3rd place, and the stakes are even higher this time around.
The Dutch roster has changed since the Europe Cup, as Loyce will play together with sister Jill Bettonvil, Fleur Kuijt and Natalie van den Adel.

Paula Palomares – Spain
Palomares was very important in getting Spain a ticket for the World Cup during the qualifiers in Puerto Rico, and therefore she earned her spot for the main event as well.

Marcella Filippi – Italy
Filippi is already a veteran in the 3×3 world, and though Italy is only ranked 12th for the World Cup, they definitely shouldn’t be forgotten.
