‘Sharp shooters’ by Adidas and Bristol Studio
Adidas Originals and Bristol studio have created a new basketball inspired collection ‘ Sharp Shooters’. A collection of basketball footwear and a range of apparels.
Luke Tadashi creative director of Bristol studio grew up in the early 2000s. In that time he really got inspired by the oversized silhouettes of the day and anything Kobe Bryants did on- or off the court. This inspiration from his youth he has put in the ‘Sharp Shooters’ collection. You can see this inspiration in the garments of the collection. The garments also fit the Adidas basketball traditions like: Jerseys, warm up tops, tees, loose-fitting shorts and tearaway pants arrive in a selection of tonal light brown, white and onyx.
Also for this second partnership, they have created a new version of the Crazy BYW’s. One high and one low. They searched for new materials like hairy leather panels, knitted textiles and translucent elements. The shoe sole comes from a basketball shoe out of the early 2000s, they updated de sole with BOOST technology.
The collection will be available on November 17th at Adidas Originals stores and later on the official site of Bristol studio.
